Додао је да је на међународној сцени Србија препозната као одговоран партнер, фактор регионалне стабилности и извозник безбедности уз јасно опредељење за јачање сарадње кроз Програм Партнерство за мир, као и сарадње са другим партнерима у свету која се не реализује на штету сарадње са Алијасом и обрнуто.

Посебно је указао на веома успешну сарадњу Војске Србије и КФОР-а, као и на важност мандата и улоге КФОР-а на Косову и Метохији, који су успостављени Резолуцијом СБ УН 1244, истакавши да је несмањено присуство КФОР-а, као једине легалне и легитимне војне формације у Покрајини кључно за безбедност и опстанак српске заједнице на КиМ и очување њеног културног и религијског наслеђа.

Током отвореног разговора било је речи и о будућим активностима у оквиру партнерске сарадње Србије и НАТО-а, међу којима су и организација међународне вежбе у области ванредних ситуација, која се одржава у Србији октобра 2018. године, учешће у пројектима програма „Наука за мир и безбедност”, као и у други облици партнерске сарадње која доприноси остварењу заједнички договорених циљева.
