Common interest to further intensify the positive dynamic of Serbia – US bilateral relations

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had talks today with Senator Ron Johnson, who is visiting Belgrade.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic informed his interlocutor of the regional situation, underlining the commitment of the Republic of Serbia towards achieving peace and stability in the region. Dacic indicated that the US support was highly important in that respect, expressing an interest in the further enhancement of the positive dynamic of the bilateral relations in the future, as well.

Senator Ron Johnson emphasized that Serbia was one of the most important countries in the region and that the United States was willing to support its efforts towards building a stable and prosperous society.

The interlocutors agreed that the visits of US officials were significant for the further enhancement of political dialogue and expressed an interest to further intensify the dialogue’s momentum in the future.
