First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic stated that Serbia would not change its foreign policy.
“Over the past five years, we have been able to endure all pressures and remain on our European path, without hampering the relations with our friends, primarily with Russia and China.
The essence of pursuing a wise policy is never to allow for a dilemma, EU or Russia, and be guided by Serbian interests. Due to its principled policy, Serbia has reversed its international position and became a credible partner.
It is clear that we are on the European path, but equally clear is our relationship with Russia, whose support is essential to Serbia’s territorial integrity.”
