First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dačić sent his greetings to the Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community of Serbia Sead Nasufović, president of Meshihat of the Islamic community of Serbia, Mufti Mevludin Dudić and to all Muslim believers, both in the country and the world, celebrating Eid Al-Fitr.
„On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and on my own behalf, I have the pleasure to extend my greetings to all our compatriots celebrating Eid Al-Fitr, and to all our friends around the world, and I wish you to celebrate this holiday in peace, harmony and joy amongst your loved ones.
I wish that the upcoming days of celebration remind us that it is only together that we can find strength and understanding to face the challenges posed to our country and our society, but also to the world community of which we form an inalienable part.
It is only together that we can build a community free from prejudice, a community which respects and celebrates differences, because knowing and respecting the differences is what ennobles us and makes us strong.
Let the feast days ahead bring us all good health, joy, happiness to our families, and wisdom in order to be able to respond together to the challenges of our time”, reads the message of Minister Dačić.
