Possibilities for stronger engagement of the new US Administration in the promotion of peace and stability in the Western Balkans

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met in Washington, today, with representatives of the US Administration and Congress.

Minister Dacic conversed with Senators Ron Johnson and Roger Wicker.

Minister Dacic and Senator Wicker discussed the situation in the region, and protection of Serbian national, historical and religious heritage in Kosovo and Metohija.

Serbian Foreign Minister and Senator Wicker examined the modalities of promoting bilateral cooperation, primarily in the economic area.

Possibilities for stronger engagement of the new US Administration in the promotion of peace and stability in the Western Balkans were also discussed at the meeting.
