Održan jubilarni festival srpskog filma u Vankuveru

U Vankuveru je završen jubilarni, deseti festival novog srpskog filma na kome su od 9. do 12. novembra prikazana četiri grana i tri dokumentarna filma.

Pre projekcije prvog filma održan je prigodan program povodom desetogodišnjice Festivala u kome je, izmedju ostalih, učestvovao i vankuverski hor Sirilika (Cyrilika) u kome pevaju doseljenici iz bivše Jugoslavije, mahom srpskog porekla.

Festival je u četvrtak, 9. novembra otvorio gost, glumac Nikola Kojo koji kao režiser potpisuje komediju o životu iza kamere “Stado”, a on i producentkinja Biljana Prvanović odgovarali su posle projekcije na pitanja gledalaca.

Drugog dana festivala, prikazani su dokumentarni film “Albertov način” u režiji Predraga Bambića i igrani film “Igla ispod praga” Ivana Marinovića.

U subotu, 11. novembra publika je videla dokumentarac “Obećanje” Željka Mirkovića i igrani film “Ime: Dobrica, prezime: nepoznato” Srdje Penezića.

Juče, poslednjeg festivalskog dana, prikazani su dokumentarni film “Zarobljeno vreme” u režiji Milana Nikodijevića o Petru Peci Popoviću, jednom od najznačajnijih poznavalaca rok muzike u bivšoj Jugoslaviji, kao i ovogodišnji srpski kandidat za Oskara u konkurenciji igranih filmova “Rekvijem za gospodju J.” Bojana Vuletića.

Festival je prigodnim obraćanjem zatvorio ambasador Srbije u Kanadi Mihailo Papazoglu koji se nalazi u višednevnoj radnoj poseti Britanskoj Kolumbiji.

Svi filmovi prikazani su na srpskom jeziku, ali sa titlovanim prevodom na engleski što je festivalska “tradicija” koja privlači i filmofile nesrpskog porekla kakvih je na ovoj netakmičarskoj festivalskoj smotri bilo i ove godine.

Osnivač Vankuverskog festivala srpskog filma i najzaslužniji za njegovo desetogodišnje postojanje, počasni konzul Srbije u tom gradu i provinciji Britanska Kolumbija Predrag Vladiković rekao je agenciji Beta da se desetogodišnjim trajanjem i kvalitetom filmske produkcije Festival srpskog filma upisao na vidno mesto na kulturnoj mapi pacifičke metropole.

“Festivalske projekcije održane su u elitnom bioskopu Vansiti teatar (Vancity Theater) u samom centru Vankuvera u kome se filmovi iz celog sveta prikazuju i za vreme Medjunarodnog filmskog festivala koji se takodje održava svake godine”, dodao je Vladiković.

Predrag Vladiković je diplomac beogradskog Arhitektonskog fakulteta, izgradio je u Kanadi uspešnu stručnu karijeru. Sa kolegom Mihailom Gordićem projektovao je i srpski crkveni hram Svetog arhandjela Mihaila, a od patijarha srpskog Pavla dobio je orden Svetog Save.

Dodeljena mu je i nagrada “Slobodan Jovanović” za doprinos i zasluge u jačanju ugleda matice i dijaspore.

NOTARIZATION OF SIGNATURES FOR THE POWER OF ATTORNEY OR STATEMENT

Notarization of signatures on private documents which are in Serbian language (authorization, power of attorney or statement) for use in the Republic of Serbia can be done at the Embassy on the basis of valid identification document of the Republic of Serbia (passport or personal ID card). The document must be signed at the Embassy.

The consular fee for notarization of a signature is 65 CAD.  The second copy is 22 CAD and the third as we as any other copy is 22 CAD each. Consular fee is payable in cash or Certified Cheque or Money Order..

If the individual giving authorization, power of attorney or statement is not able to personally come to the Embassy, private documents can be signed before the Notary Public and then the same must be certified Global Affaires Canada – DFATD JLAC, and then legalized at the Embassy, this is not valid for certifying statments or power of Attorney related to real estates in Serbia nor to Inheritor statements.

CERTIFYING PHOTOCOPY OF A DOCUMENT

The Consulate General can certify a photocopy of the document. In this case it is necessary to submit the original document and a photocopy of the same. The consular fee for the certification of a photocopy is 48  CAD .  Supplemantary copies are 19 CAD each.

CERTIFYING STATEMENT OF INHERITOR OR POWER OF ATTORNEY RELATED TO REAL ESTATE IN SERBIA

The power of attorney regarding real estate in Serbia or statement of inheritor can be notarized at the Consulate General within the legal format that includes a clause on certification of document (solemnization clause). Personal presence of the individual giving authorization, power of attorney or statement is mandatory in order to be identified on the basis of valid identification document of the Republic of Serbia (passport or personal ID card). If the individual giving authorization, power of attorney or statement does not hold a valid identity document of the Republic of Serbia, the identity can be determined by inspecting the Canadian identification document (passport or PR card). The individual giving authorization, power of attorney or statement must submit the appropriate text of authorization, power of attorney or statement that was made by a qualified person in Serbia (attorney). The authorization, power of attorney or statement must be signed at the Consulate General. Consular fee is payable in cash, Certified Cheque or Money Order  in the amount of 65 CAD .

The process of notarization of power of attorney or statement of inheritor with a clause on certification of the document may not be ready the same day. For this kind of service the Embassy recommends making an appointment via e-mail or phone.

Given that the personal presence is necessary, authorization, power of attorney regarding real estate in Serbia or statement of inheritor may be signed at any one of the diplomatic and consular missions in the Canada:  Embassy in Ottawa or Consulate General in Toronto.

POWER OF ATTORNEY IN THE FORM OF NOTARY’S RECORD

The power of attorney regarding real estate in Serbia can be made at the Embassy in the form of a notary public record. Personal presence of the individual giving power of attorney is required and must be identified on the basis of valid identification document of the Republic of Serbia (passport or personal ID card). If the individual giving power of attorney does not hold a valid identity document of the Republic of Serbia, the identity can be determined by inspecting the Canadian  identification document (passport or PR card).

The individual giving power of attorney must submit the draft of power of attorney that was made by a qualified person in Serbia (attorney). The power of attorney must be signed at the Embassy. Consular fee is payable in cash in the amount of 135 CAD.

The process of notarization of power of attorney in the form of notary’s record may not be ready the same day. For this kind of service the Embassy recommends making an appointment via e-mail or phone.

Given that the personal presence is necessary, power of attorney may be signed at any one of the diplomatic and consular missions in Canada:  Embassy in Ottawa or Consulate General in Toronto.
