Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic addressed a condolence letter to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yi, following the loss of human lives in a landslide which crushed Xinmo village in south-western China.
“I was deeply saddened by the news of the casualties and the large number of missing persons in the landslides that hit your country.
I take the opportunity to extend to you and the friendly people of China, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia and on my own behalf, the expressions of deepest condolences, as well as the sincere sympathy with the families who have lost their most loved ones and have been desperately searching for them with fears.
Nature is showing us its power ever more frequently, warning us that we together must take care of it.
Serbia is ready to provide support and assistance to the extent of its capabilities”, says the letter of condolences by Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic.
