Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Veljko Odalovic had a meeting today with Ms. Afshan Khan, UNICEF Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia and Special Coordinator for the Refugee and Migrant Crisis in Europe.
Ms. Afshan Khan, who is on her first visit to the Republic of Serbia, participated today in a conference titled “The Most Important Investment in the Future of a Country – Early Child Development”, organized by UNICEF Belgrade.
Mutual devotion to the continuation of the successful cooperation with UNICEF, which has lasted for 70 years now, and which will be marked on Sunday, 1 October, at the opening of UNICEF’s exhibition at the Museum of Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was underlined in the talks.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic. After the inauguration, the exhibition will be available to the general public, both in Belgrade and in other cities in Serbia.
