First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today Ms Linda Van Gelder, the newly appointed Country Director of the World Bank for Southeast Europe, Europe and Central Asia Region.
In the meeting, they discussed projects of the World Bank carried out in Serbia, focusing on the project based on implementing priorities of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
Particular attention was devoted to activities within the first ministerial group in the framework of the project to connect Serbia with Europe and the world, whose membership included Minister Dacic.
Furthermore, they considered issues concerning public sector reform, regional integration and the EU accession process as well as cooperation modalities the World Bank could offer in these areas.
