Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today in Belgrade Secretary of State to the German Federal Foreign Office Markus Ederer.
In the talks, both sides estimated that the bilateral relations were very good and characterized by intensive cooperation in all areas, regular high-level dialogue and a constant upward trend. Economic cooperation was an important segment in the two countries’ relations, which was very good and had a potential for further development and a tendency of growth in the value of foreign trade.
The Head of Serbian diplomacy thanked for the support and assistance that Germany provided so far to Serbia’s European integration process, expressing hope that Germany would continue to pull its weight behind Serbia’s reform efforts being adequately valued in the EU.
Markus Ederer underlined that the bilateral relations with Serbia were of great importance to Germany, since it considered Serbia its key partner in the region.
