First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić sent his greetings on the occasion of Rosh Hashanah to all members of the Jewish Community in Serbia, Chief Rabbi of the Jewish Community in Serbia Isak Asiel and President of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Serbia Ruben Fuks.
“On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and on my own behalf, I have the pleasure to extend greetings to you on Rosh Hashanah, and may you spend the festive days in peace and contemplation among your loved ones.
Let these days of remembrance and repentance remind us that only together can we find strength and understanding to strengthen our community and state, and also of the inextricable ties between our two peoples, affirmed at the most difficult times in the history of our peoples.
May the year ahead bring good health and joy to all, and happiness to their families, as well as wisdom to respond together to the challenges of our times”, reads the message of holiday greetings from Minister Dačić.
