First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had a meeting today with the Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Shariat-Madari.
Minister Shariat-Madari is also Co-Chairman of the Iranian part of the Joint Committee on Trade between Serbia and Iran, whose counterpart on the Serbian side is Minister Rasim Ljajic. The 15th Meeting of the Joint Committee and the Business Forum were held in Belgrade, on 20 and 21 June 2018, attended by a large number of Iranian and Serbian businessmen.
The Iranian Minister expressed his satisfaction with the outcome of the meeting and talks between the officials and businessmen of Iran and Serbia, which will contribute to the promotion of business ties between the two countries.
Minister Dacic thanked Iran for the support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia, expressing his country’s readiness to develop with Iran economic relations and cooperation in all other areas of common interest, as well.
