First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Ms. Karen Pierce, UK Foreign Office Director General Political.
Minister Dacic underlined the need to strengthen cooperation between Serbia and the United Kingdom in all areas and to establish a strategic political dialogue, which was the proposal of the British side. He stressed that European integration, commitment to peace and stability in the region and further reform processes would remain the priorities of Serbia.
The Foreign Office Director General Political, Ms. Karen Pierce expressed readiness of the United Kingdom for strengthening the relations and cooperation with Serbia, regardless of their decision to no longer be a Member State of the European Union.
