Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic had a meeting today with Mr. Wess Mitchell, the US Assistant Secretary of State, in the margins of the 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting was also attended by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic.
Mr. Mitchell expressed the US support to the continuation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, voicing his expectation that the process would result in a lasting political solution. He also stressed that the United States was open to consider, together with the partners from the EU, a settlement proposal advanced by Belgrade and Pristina.
The meeting also discussed opportunities for further enhancement of the bilateral political dialogue and cooperation in areas of economy, investment, defense and education.
