First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar led by Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi.
In the talks, the two sides considered the prospects of enhancing bilateral relations, which would have an encouraging impact on the announced abolition of visas for the citizens of the Republic of Serbia by the State of Qatar.
Moreover, a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar talked today to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Veljko Odalovic.
Apart from the topics related to bilateral cooperation between the two countries, special focus was placed on economic cooperation between Serbia and Qatar, and on opportunities for investing in the Republic of Serbia. The collocutors also considered opportunities for establishing special interdepartmental bodies, tasked with promoting cooperation.
