First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today Ambassador of the Russian Federation Aleksandar Chepurin.
At today’s meeting, the interlocutors discussed the upcoming activities and plans for the further development of bilateral cooperation. Harmonization of dates for scheduling the next meeting of the Inter-Governmental Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Serbia and Russia, as well as on other issues related to the organization of work of this body, whose Co-Chairs are First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin.
It was jointly assessed that the coming visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov to Belgrade, from 21-22 February 2018, will be held within the framework of marking the 180th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Serbia and Russia, exceptionally important for further deepening the cooperation between the two countries.
