Minister Dacic and Mayor of Zaragoza discuss potentials to promote cooperation

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had talks today with Mayor of Zaragoza Pedro Santisteve Roche.

The interlocutors discussed the promotion of cooperation in the fields of economy, culture and sport.

The Mayor introduced to Minister Dacic the potentials of Saragossa and its plans for cooperation with Serbia.

The Serbian Foreign Minister underlined the importance of the excellent and friendly Serbia-Spain relations, pointing to the importance of mutual support in the protection of territorial integrity and adherence to the principles of international law.

It was agreed that the opening of Honorary Consulate would further promote the cooperation between Saragossa/Aragon and Serbia.

The formal ceremony of establishing the Consulate, to be headed by Honorary Consul Juan Carlos Trillo Biagori, is to take place today at the Zaragoza Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on which occasion Minister Dacic will sign the Chamber’s Ceremonial Book.
