Minister Dacic in talks with Head of the Russian Federation’s Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation

Ivica Dacic with Ms. Eleonora MitrofanovaFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today Ms. Eleonora Mitrofanova, Head of the Russian Federation’s Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo).

The Serbian side expressed gratitude to Ms. Mitrofanova for her remarkable contribution to the promotion of relations between the two countries and for her engagement as Ambassador of the Russian Federation to UNESCO.
Minister Dacic congratulated Ms. Mitrofanova on the decoration she received from the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Furthermore, thanks were also extended to the Russian partners and the organization she is heading for their dedicated efforts in carrying out and funding the interior decoration of St. Sava’s Church in Belgrade.
In today’s meeting, the interlocutors also discussed activities and plans for the further development of cooperation in the fields of culture, education and science, in the period ahead.
