First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic addressed a telegram of condolences to the family of actor Predrag Ejdus.
“Please accept my heartfelt condolences following the passing of Predrag Ejdus, a doyen of the Yugoslav and Serbian stage.
One of the finest and most convincing actors on the Serbian stage has left us. He was and will continue to be a unique figure in our culture, a man whose roles were without exception interwoven with his charm, manners and a refined sense of irony.
Only exquisite artists become popular and close like a family member with the broader audience. Predrag was an outstanding artist whose name will never fall into oblivion”, reads the condolence message sent by Minister Dacic.
