First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Ambassador Lamberto Zannier.
Minister Dacic underlined that the institution of the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities was of great importance for the Republic of Serbia as demonstrated by its principled commitment to promoting the situation of minorities, in both Serbia and the region.
In the meeting, the officials discussed the position of national minorities in Serbia and that of the Serbian minority in the region, with both sides expressing an expectation that Serbia’s cooperation with the Office of the OSCE HCNM would continue to be successful.
