Stability in WB countries and strong US support to the process

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today the U.S. Ambassador to Serbia, Mr. Kyle Scott.

During the meeting that took place in the context of the regular diplomatic dialogue, views were exchanged about the current bilateral cooperation, in the light of the successfully ended visit that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic made to Washington D.C., where he recently stayed at the invitation of Vice President Mike Pence. It was jointly assessed that the meeting between the two high-ranking officials of the two states was a good platform for the continuation of the cooperation maintained so far and for the enhancement of the overall bilateral relations in the coming period.

In the talks, the two sides exchanged their views about the most topical developments at the global political stage. The importance of intensifying regional dialogue was particularly underlined in the talks, as it constituted part of the path leading to stability and overall development of the Western Balkan countries, as well as the strong support of the United States to the process.
