First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic sent today a letter of condolence to the family of the late writer Rasa Popov.
“Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your father Rasa Popov.
Both children and us adults will miss the man who had so much in him – we will remember him as a writer, columnist, actor, TV journalist, and first and foremost as a raconteur who had been telling his story with such zeal and enthusiasm that he will remain in our collective memory as a symbol of childhood.
His columns in Politika daily, about our fellow citizens, heroes of survival in hard times for our country, will continue to be read, and we will remember him as a man who always did his best to preserve love and hope”, reads the condolence letter signed by Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic.
