First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call from the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Angola in the Republic of Serbia, Mr. José João Manuel.
Minister Dacic expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Manuel for his contribution to the development of bilateral relations and conveyed his belief that the Ambassador’s successor would maintain the activities aimed at the enhancement of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
Serbian Foreign Minister highlighted that the two countries’ relations are marked by traditional friendship, expressing his gratitude to Angola for the support it lent to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia.
In the talks, both sides expressed interest in the further enhancement of bilateral relations through exchange of visits at all levels and solidification of economic and other forms of cooperation.
Ambassador Manuel thanked Minister Dacic for excellent cooperation and conveyed his belief that Angola would always remain Serbia’s friend, in the same way Serbia had always supported Angola in difficult times.
Reminding Ambassador Manuel that he would always be a welcomed friend in Serbia, Serbian Foreign Minister wished him every success in his future work.
