First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs a friendship parliamentary group of the Islamic Republic of Iran, led by Parvaneh Salahshouri, head of the group.
In the talks they noted that bilateral relations between the two states were good, focusing in particular on the prospects for their further promotion in the context of politics, economy, culture, science and sport.
It was emphasized that the abolition of visas would give additional impetus to the further development of relations at all levels. They welcomed a significant rise in the number of tourists from Iran visiting Serbia, which followed after the abolition of visa requirements.
The interlocutors agreed that it was very important that the text of the Air Transport Agreement between Serbia and Iran had been harmonized and initialled, because this was a prerequisite for the establishment of direct flights between Belgrade and Tehran.
