First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic today received Ambassador of Italy in Belgrade Giuseppe Manzo in a farewell visit.
On that occasion, Minister Dacic thanked Ambassador Manzo for a very successful and dynamic cooperation during his term in Belgrade.
Both sides noted that the bilateral relations were friendly, highly developed and that there was a strong interest in promoting them further, as confirmed in important bilateral meetings as well as a trilateral meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Italy and Albania, held in Belgrade on 27 February this year.
The Italian Ambassador thanked Minister Dacic for his warm hospitality and an excellent cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the institutions of the Republic of Serbia.
The Ambassador said that following the termination of his post in Serbia, on 12 February 2018, he will take up his duties as the Italian Ambassador to Argentina.
Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Italian Embassy in Belgrade Sergio Monti also attended the meeting.
