First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a courtesy call from the new non-resident Ambassador of New Zealand Patrick John Rata.
At today’s meeting, both sides expressed interest in the development of overall relations, which have a decades-long tradition. Both sides expressed interest in further promotion of all forms of cooperation, especially economic.
Minister Dacic stressed the importance of the Serbian community in New Zealand, which is a significant factor of mutual connection.
Ambassador Patrick John Rata stated that he personally would contribute to the strengthening of friendly relations between New Zealand and the Republic of Serbia, in order to further advance the relations between the two countries.
