First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call by Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Aleksander Chećko, whose mission in Serbia is drawing to a close.
It was jointly noted in the meeting that the bilateral relations had been significantly enhanced. They are very good and devoid of outstanding issues, while there is still room for the intensification of the political and economic cooperation.
Minister Dacic thanked the Ambassador for his cooperation and personal contribution to the advancement of relations. The Serbian Foreign Minister conveyed his gratitude for Poland’s abstention in the UNESCO General Conference vote.
Ambassador Chećko thanked the Minister for excellent cooperation and congratulated him on the opening of the first chapters in the accession negotiations with the EU. The Ambassador expressed his belief that the relations would further develop in the coming period.
