Bilateral political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Macedonia were held in Belgrade, today.
On the Serbian side, consultations were headed by State Secretary Nemanja Stevanovic, and on the Macedonian side, by State Secretary Viktor Dimovski.
The consultations provided an opportunity to review the current state of the overall bilateral relations between Serbia and Macedonia, and to identify possibilities and directions of their further development, predominantly in the area of economic cooperation.
During the talks, the two sides expressed their readiness to further promote their bilateral relations and cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, primarily in the areas of economy, transport, infrastructure and tourism.
The two sides exchanged views, in the course of the consultations, on major regional and international matters.
It was agreed that the next bilateral consultations be held in Skopje, in the spring of 2018.
