Ministers Dacic and Abdyldayev on further coordination of joint activities and exchange of high level visits

Ivica Dacic with H.E. Mr. Erlan AbdyldayevFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had talks today, on the fringes of the 73rd UNGA, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Mr. Erlan Abdyldayev.

In the cordial talks, the two sides noted that the bilateral relations between the two countries are on a very high level and that there is full mutual support in the international organizations.

Ministers Dacic and Abdyldayev agreed on further coordination of mutual activities and offering of mutual support as well as on the exchange of high level visits.

US President Donald TrumpThe Meeting on the World Drug Problem, hosted by the United States and chaired by US President Donald Trump, marked the start of an intensive working week for First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic, devoted to the strengthening of the position of the Republic of Serbia in today’s world.

During many bilateral meetings, multilateral side-events and meetings on the fringes of the “UN Week”, Minister Dacic will have the opportunity to inform his collocutors about the policy of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the course of the economic reforms implemented by the Republic of Serbia as well as about the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and the European integration process of the Republic of Serbia.


Bilateral cooperation between Serbia and Ghana was restored, in a short time, to a high level of relations that existed between the SFRY and Ghana

Ivica Dacic with Ms. Shirley BotchwayAt a ceremony held at the Serbia Mission to the UN, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation of Ghana, Ms. Shirley Botchway, signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Agricultural Cooperation.

In a substantive talks, the two Ministers concluded that the bilateral cooperation between the two states was restored to a high level that existed at the time of comprehensive and friendly cooperation between the SFRY and Ghana.

Signing of the Memorandum was done in the room and at the table at which Presidents Josip Broz Tito, Nasser, Sukarno and Nkrumah (President of Ghana) agreed, in September 1960, on holding the First Conference of Non-Aligned Countries in Belgrade, in 1961. The Foreign Minister of Ghana said that it was a great honour for her to sit at the same table at which the Non-Aligned Movement was launched.


Great friendship, strategic partnership and strong alliance between Serbia and China

Ivica Dacic with Mr. Wang YiFirst Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic has met in New York today with his counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Wang Yi.

The two collocutors asserted great friendship, strategic partnership and strong alliance between the two countries, strong advocates of the respect for the fundamental principles of international law and for non-violation of the territorial integrity of sovereign states.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of China reaffirmed the success of the recent visit by the delegation of the Republic of Serbia, headed by President Aleksandar Vucic to China and assessed that the bilateral cooperation developed according to the agenda, to the mutual satisfaction and for the benefit of joint success.

The two Heads of diplomacy of China and Serbia agreed that the cooperation and mutual support between the two countries is on a very high level. The two collocutors agreed on holding regular meetings with a view to as good cooperation as possible on the mutual activities aimed at the further strengthening of their bilateral cooperation.
