First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs estimated that yesterday’s decision made by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and President Tomislav Nikolic was an indication of Serbia’s wise stately politics.
“This decision upholds both national and state interests of Serbia, as well as the interests of Serbian people of the Republic of Srpska. Serbia has again shown its firm commitment to regional peace and stability, as opposed to the anti-Serbian war-mongering policy pursued by some of the states in the region, with the ultimate goal of provoking Serbia, putting an end to its progress and of dissolving the Republic of Srpska.
None of this will come to fruition, since Serbia protects wisely its interests, the Serbian people as a whole and all of its citizens. Although the war in the territory of the former SFRY ended a long time ago, a true peace, sadly, has yet to prevail. Serbia leads by example, acting as a country honestly dedicated to peace and stability. We expect others too to behave accordingly, in the interest of the entire region’s future.”
