First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic signed today the Book of Condolences, opened in the Embassy of the Russian Federation following the assassination of Ambassador Andrey Karlov.
“We were profoundly moved by the news of the brutal killinh of our colleague Andrey Karlov, Ambassador of Russia to Ankara.
We qualify this crime as a horrendous act of terrorism, whose innocent victim was a man whose whole life was dedicated to building bridges between nations and states.
Andrey Karlov will be remembered as a professional, an honourable man and a friend of our country which he treated with great respect while discharging his duties as Director of the Consular Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
I express my deepest condolences to the family of our esteemed colleague, members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Russian people”, wrote down the Serbian Foreign Minister in the Book of Condolences.
