First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had talks today with U.S. Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott.
The two collocutors expressed their pleasure at the upcoming commemoration of the 100th anniversary since the Serbian flag was flown over the White House, to be celebrated with a series of events both in Belgrade and Washington D.C.
Minister Dacic will visit the United States on the occasion, where he will take part in an international Ministerial-level event to advance religious freedom, at the invitation of U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
The Head of Serbian diplomacy underlined that this important anniversary presented an opportunity to jointly turn to the positive historical example of alliance, as an additional impulse to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.
