First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a courtesy call from the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to the Republic of Serbia Anders, Christian Hougard.
In the talks, it was affirmed that the bilateral relations between Serbia and Denmark were good, but that there was room for their further promotion as well as for intensification of the political dialogue, particularly at high and top levels. Both sides conveyed pleasure with having marked an important landmark last year, namely the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The collocutors agreed that there was a common interest to deepen and solidify all forms of bilateral cooperation, noting also a significant potential for the promotion of economic cooperation.
Minister Dacic expressed his gratitude for the continued support the Kingdom of Denmark extended thus far to Serbia’s European integration, while views were also exchanged on the situation in the region and the Republic of Serbia’s contribution in the context of the preservation of peace and stability.
