First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic had talks today with U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia Kyle Scott.
The collocutors exchanged views on the recent 73rd Session of the United Nations General Assembly, conveying their satisfaction with the successful meetings held between officials of the Republic of Serbia and the United States on this occasion.
Ambassador Scott underlined the importance of continued efforts being invested towards enhanced relations among countries in the region and the promotion of regional cooperation, particularly in the context of the further course of Serbia’s European integration process.
Minister Dacic stressed that the ceremony marking the 100th anniversary since the Serbian flag flew over the White House, in July this year, and the observance of Operation Halyard anniversary were a further encouragement for the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, additionally promoting the positive dynamic in the development of U.S.-Serbia bilateral relations.
