First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today former Members of the European Parliament who are on an official visit to the Republic of Serbia.
Minister Dacic informed in detail the former MEPs delegation on the current situation concerning Serbia’s European integration process, regional cooperation with neighbouring states, current foreign policy issues, and also on the positions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding most pressing issues worldwide. The Head of Serbian diplomacy expressed his satisfaction with having an opportunity to talk with former EU lawmakers whose vast previous experiences could contribute to Serbia’s further cooperation with the European Parliament.
At the meeting, the former MEPs extended their support to continuing further the process of Serbia-EU negotiations on full membership of the Union, highlighting the constructive role played by Serbia in the preservation of regional stability and cooperation.
