First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Miroslav Lajcak.
In a cordial conversation the two interlocutors noted that bilateral relations between the two countries were traditionally good and friendly and they underlined their shared interest to further deepen and strengthen them in all areas.
Minister Dacic expressed his thanks for the continued support of the Slovak Republic to Serbia’s European integration and particularly for its principled support to the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia. He highlighted that Serbia appreciated very much the fact that the Slovak Republic voted against Kosovo’s admission to UNESCO at its General Conference held in Paris.
The two sides exchanged views on the continuation of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in Brussels and the situation in the region. They also discussed the current migrant crisis.
Minister Lajcak expressed the readiness of the Slovak Republic to further develop intensive communication and cooperation with Serbia, in all areas.
