First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today an Atlantic Council delegation from Washington, headed by Executive Vice President Damon Wilson, which is visiting Belgrade, in the framework of their study visit to the region.
The talks dealt with themes related to regional stability and security, economic prosperity and continuation of reforms in Western Balkan countries and the Republic of Serbia.
Minister Dacic underlined, among other things, the importance of the United States support so far to the Serbian European path, expressing his hope that the new US Administration would continue to act along these lines.
He emphasized the importance of enhanced high-level political dialogue held in recent years, and Serbia’s interest in furthering this trend, particularly in the area of economic cooperation and attraction of new US investments.
Today’s talks were attended also by US Ambassador to the Republic of Serbia Kyle Scott.
