First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call from H. E. Abdallah Zagour, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Republic of Serbia.
Minister Dacic thanked the Ambassador for his engagement in the past 4 years and for his contribution to the development of relations between the two countries.
In the talks, the two sides stated that the bilateral relations of the two countries were traditionally good and expressed mutual interest in their further promotion, particularly in the economic field. The interlocutors jointly underlined the importance of intensification of political dialogue at the high level, convening the next session of the Joint Committee, and the further development of parliamentary cooperation.
Minister Dacic particularly highlighted his gratitude for the principled position of the Kingdom of Morocco concerning the non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo and expressed his expectation that Morocco would continue to extend its support to the Republic of Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, and to our efforts to peacefully resolve the issue of the status of Kosovo and Metohija through dialogue.
