First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic, who is on a two-day visit to the United States, met in Washington, D.C. with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Wess Mitchell.
In the talks, both sides confirmed their readiness to strengthen bilateral relations.
The collocutors also noted the readiness to work jointly on regional stability, as well as the need for a negotiated settlement of the Kosovo and Metohija issue.
