First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today in Belgrade with Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto.
In the talks, the officials acknowledged the upward trend in the relations between Serbia and Hungary, as well as the fact that both countries were committed to further intensive political dialogue and cooperation in all areas of mutual interest. They also exchanged views on the current global issues, particularly addressing the situation in the region.
Minister Dacic expressed his profound gratitude for the support Hungary lent to the Republic of Serbia’s European integration process.
It was also agreed that the Head of Serbian diplomacy would pay a visit to Budapest, the first official visit after his re-appointment as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
