First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today, in Geneva, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Mr. Filippo Grandi.
At today’s meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the migration problem, which remained topical, both on the national and international levels.
Minister Dacic informed the High Commissioner of the status of, and the problems facing refugees from Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as of more than 200,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Kosovo and Metohija.
The Serbian Foreign Minister expressed the readiness of the Republic of Serbia to continue to enhance its cooperation with the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
Minister Dacic participated, earlier today, at the 68th Session of the UNHCR Executive Committee.
