State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Toncev received today Mr. Nurbah Rustemov, the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Serbia, based in Budapest.
In the talks, the two sides noted that the relations between the two countries were friendly and that there was room for an accelerated development of economic cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
The recent visit that the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic made to Kazakhstan, and the upcoming visit by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic to that country, additionally reaffirmed the existing good relations.
Mr. Nurbah Rustemov reiterated his country’s firm position regarding non-recognition of the unilaterally declared independence of Kosovo, expressing his belief in the further fruitful cooperation in international organizations and other forums.
