First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia Sven Mikser.
In the friendly meeting, both sides agreed that the bilateral relations between the two countries were good and friendly. It was concluded that continued political dialogue was taking place, and a common interest in further deepening and strengthening all aspects of bilateral cooperation, especially in the economic sphere, was recognized.
Minister Dacic thanked for the support extended so far by the Republic of Estonia concerning the European integration of the Republic of Serbia and conveyed the expectation that it would continue in the future.
Minister Mikser praised the continuation of comprehensive reforms implemented by the Government of Serbia and reiterated the readiness of Estonia, which in the second half of the year chairs the Council of the European Union, to continue its support for the European integration of the Republic of Serbia and in the further course of the negotiation process.
The two sides exchanged views on the continuation of the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue and on the current issues in the region.
The two Ministers also discussed the migrant crisis, as well as other international issues.
