First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today Ambassador of Japan Juichi Takahara.
During the talks with the Ambassador of Japan, Minister Dacic expressed his satisfaction that the political dialogue and cooperation between Serbia and Japan were intensifying, and underlined Serbia’s interest to strengthen economic and other forms of cooperation, with particular focus on measures designed to increase investments from Japan.
Both sides agreed that the relations between the two countries were on a continuous rise, confirming their readiness to further intensify their mutual dialogue, exchange of visits at all levels and the connectivity between the two economies.
The Serbian Foreign Minister reiterated his gratitude for the high level of solidarity of the Japanese people with the Republic of Serbia, demonstrated through donations and grants. He assessed that the support and solidarity that the two countries shared in common were a lasting value in the further development of friendly relations between Serbia and Japan.
