State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nemanja Stevanovic attended today the meeting between delegations of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Bulgaria, in Dimitrovgrad.
The Serbian delegation was headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia Rasim Ljajic, while the Bulgarian delegation was headed by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic and Demographic Policy Valeri Simeonov.
In the meeting, views were exchanged on the state of the bilateral relations between Serbia and Bulgaria, and the possibilities for enhancing the countries’ cooperation in the areas of mutual interest, primarily in the fields of economy, tourism, infrastructure, energy, as well as regarding issues of interest to the Bulgarian national minority in Serbia.
State Secretary Stavanovic attended the ceremony of laying wreaths by the two delegations at the Monument to Vasil Levski, in Dimitrovgrad, and the Memorial Tomb at Neskovo Brdo, in its vicinity.
