First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia Ivica Dacic had a meeting today with Turkish Ministers of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Çavuşoglu and Minister for EU Affairs Omer Çelik.
In a friendly conversation, the Ministers exchanged their views on bilateral topics of common interest, and experiences and themes related to EU accession negotiations.
Interlocutors agreed that the bilateral relations were at a high level, and that the coming meeting between the delegations headed by President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, on one side, and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the other, would further contribute to the promotion of cooperation in the areas of common interest.
According to the planned schedule, the plenary meeting will be followed by the signing of a Declaration on the Establishment of the High-Level Cooperation Council, and other inter-state documents.
