Visit of Ambassador Stefan Tomaševića to British Columbia and Parliament visit

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, Stefan Tomašević, paid an official visit to British Columbia. Together with Honorary Consul Peter Vladiković, he began the visit with a tour of the Parliament on April 16, 2026, during which his presence at the session was officially announced.

At a separate meeting, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, Raj Chouhan, welcomed the ambassador and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the current political context, with particular emphasis on parliamentary cooperation. The official meeting between the Serbian representatives and the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia proceeded in a spirit of friendship and constructive dialogue. Discussions covered the strengthening of bilateral relations, the significance of the Serbian community in Canada, the strengthening of institutional cooperation, as well as opportunities for further development of political and economic partnership.
