Visit of Ambassador Stefan Tomaševića and meeting with the Mayor of Burnaby, Mike Harley

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia, Stefan Tomašević, and Honorary Consul Peter Vladiković met with Burnaby Mayor Mike Harley.

The productive meeting enabled discussions on potential forms of cooperation at the local level and initiated the establishment of connections through appropriate types of agreements. 

Mayor Harley informed Ambassador Tomašević about the importance of the well-developed film industry in Burnaby, as well as ongoing housing construction projects. 

Ambassador Tomašević emphasized the importance of the well-integrated Serbian community and requested support for their future cultural activities. He also acquainted Mayor Harley with current infrastructure projects in Serbia, as well as the country’s attractiveness for direct investment across various sectors of the economy.
