Reception of the BC Consular Corps at the Residence of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, Janet Austin

A formal reception for members of the Consular Corps accredited to this Canadian province was held at the residence of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, Her Honour Janet Austin. The reception was also attended by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Serbia in Vancouver, Peter Vladiković, who took the opportunity, on behalf of the Republic of Serbia, to meet with representatives of the diplomatic and consular corps, as well as senior provincial officials.

Such receptions are an important part of diplomatic protocol and traditionally bring together heads of consular missions from around the world who serve in British Columbia. These gatherings aim to strengthen cooperation, exchange information on issues of common interest, and foster friendly relations between representatives of foreign states and the government of British Columbia.
