At the invitation of the organizing committee, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic is paying a visit to Washington, D.C. today, to participate this year again in the National Prayer Breakfast.
The event is held for the 66th time, at “Washington Hilton” Hotel in attendance of numerous high-level guests from the U.S. and the world at large.
On this occasion, the Serbian Foreign Minister met with U.S. administration officials, including Alabama Congressman Robert Aderholt, a Republican Party representative and one of the co-chairs of the National Prayer Breakfast.
The two officials affirmed that the bilateral relations were good, agreeing to further promote cooperation in the areas of mutual interest.
During his stay in Washington, Minister Dacic will have separate meetings with U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson as well as with Wess Mitchell, Assistant Secretary of State responsible for Europe and Eurasia.
